Are crystals and shard crystals "time stamped"?

Meaning, if I save them for updates to the crystals later on, would I get the updated bots in the catalog? or are the crystals "time stamped" on when you got them and I won't get the bots in the updated catalog?

know what I mean??

    No they are not time stamped. You can hoard them and they will update along with the bot roster
