    MV1 comes out ahead in terms of playability and endurance, while Grimlock wins in versatility with his sig.

    MV1 doesn't really need to be duped (but it helps) while Grimlock absolutely has to be duped or he's worthless for what he was designed for.

    They're both good at different things, so I wouldn't say one is necessarily better than the other. I will say though who you like best might just come down to what other bots you like to use as well, as they both have synergies connected to other powerful bots.

    I just r5'd my OG, so Grimlock is the obvious choice for me to focus on, but anyone with a Megatron or Drift would probably want that MV1.

    grimlock can vs the current AM 1st area boss.. rhinox much better than anyone else. so yea grimlock wins.

    The only good thing about Grimlock is his ability also covers shock... and I guess his synergies.

    Otherwise, the mechanic of keeping his melee buffs up is just annoying, even if you already use heavy religiously.

    He just doesn't do much damage unless his melee buffs are going, and they only pop in the first place if youre taking damage or an incoming debuff.

    MV1 on the other hand is a beast even discounting his bleed protection ability. The bleed protect and his dupe just make him that much better.

    Little side note... I prefer MV1 to even MM ;)

    Yeah MV1, like OG and Megatron is definitely more of an all purpose bot; the centerpiece of an AM/Raid/Spotlight team who you give synergies to with other bots.

    Grimlock is definitely a specialist; someone you bring to AM or Spotlight when there's a nasty DoT mod Kabam put there to vacuum money out of your pockets and needs to be neutralized so you don't hurl your phone across the room.

    Movie prime for sure. Great stats, easy armor buff and lots of utility. I was able to heal with his s2 nearly 20% in RoK when I had a bleed on me.

    If I ever get a 4* MV Prime he will replace my duped 4* MM. I have a duped 3* Grimlock and my 3* MM and MV Prime are better overall fighters. But I agree, it really comes down to your fighting style.
