Map 3 rank rewards, and points toward rank rewards

So, my alliance is running map 3-1 today.
No major problems.
What we did notice is the rewards...
So one would think the multiplier would be higher and points earned, for competing in a higher level map.
Apparently not.

The BG points are half the points as if we competed the map 2-72. ( pre map 3 release).
So my question is, why compete map 3; until you reach a level that equals the points of map 2-66?
Basically a low level map 3 is less points, and you will not reach the milestones.

Well, it was already stated that map 3-1 is equivalent to map 2-40, so it stands to reason the points are scaled in the same manner.

The caveat being that the difficulty on map 3 does not scale 1:1 as you increase difficulty, so it's possible that somewhere in the 20's is where you'll get equivalent points to map 2-72.

We are all experimenting with the new map, including the top alliances. We find it fun that there is an unknown factor here, and we have to find our footing again.

There are 18 more fights on the new map that would result in more points for the map as a whole with less points per fight.

If anything, I just have to say that minibosses are not yielding enough points. They all gave similar point values as the standard bots around the map. It feels off to drop a 4800 PI miniboss(no active linked nodes) and only get 1700 points from it.

Agreed with point values... something is clearly a miss on the mini bosses, being so few points. They should be double and final boss triple. Or so,etching of that scenario.

I’d still like to see 3* and 4* shards return as rewards for AM.

Yeah map rewards and rank rewards are completely not worth it. No one is going to be spending money to achieve them Kabam.

3-1 should be equivalent to map 2-60 (or at least 50) to makes sense. Right now we're getting less rewards per day after completion, yet with a much harder AM map with crazy mods! Easily needing us to buy items to revive and heal if we messed out in the run; since each player needs to manage their own lane and others couldn't help them!
