Alliance Event - Bot Battle Scoring

Is there a reason why Bot battle scoring heavily favors the boss win from the AM? I assume for a "Bot Battle" event, you should get points for anytime you battle a bot. It's not fair for the players who put a lot of arena time to score points for their Alliance only to have another player to score more just by beating the AM boss. The AM completion points by itself is horrible because it takes a team to finish but only the guy beats the boss gets the points.

a couple members took it upon themselves to take on bot battle and it has become a badge of honor now if you rank during this event. it's really helped our group and motivated others to do the same...so somewhat of a friendly competition.

yeah - at the end of day, it doesn't matter because it's group points but you know, you just want the rewards to go to the correct people.

Under correct people it is the whole Alliance,right?
But i get where you are comming from.That in the midtier and beginner Alliances there are a few or more less active or straight out inactive players.
You just have to play so, that if you win better rewards,they are for you mainly.You do it for yourself in the end of the day.
You find more active members in time and you just do not get frustrated or lose motivation to play actively when others are not contributing.
Just don't think about it.
Eventually you can join a more active Alliance in time where everyone is contributing equally and you enjoy playing with these guys.The Line chat to be active is important as well.

I have always wondered why bot battle event scoring was the way it was, it runs during am, but the only piints from am are for the boss, why not get points from each fight you do this week, and the arena win points are rodiculously low, need to bring back an event closer to what the old advancement event used to be....

To track down and monitor every player performance in AM?Why you need that for?
You can clearly see how every single player did based on their items used,health remaining and overall points per day.
Too much micromaniging or stressing out is no point.Just have fun as a group.

Bot battle is for the whole Alliance.No bragging rights,it does not really matter who killed the final boss and has most points.At least for me and my teammates.
More important is to have AM every day 100% in all 3 BGs at the highest d.level you can sustain and not burn out half your players.
And to have fun in a way.
You do d.51 for one day let's say.Rest can be d.41 and you will surpass the Alliance who did d.50 for 4 days.But only at the AE Bot battle.Not the more important AM ranking.
But you guys can try a similar tactic if you want so.
Arena points are if both Alliances have exactly the same score from AM.It is sort of a tiebreaker.Nothing more,nothing less.

Rewards,even ranked rewards are no longer good in most AE anyways,they just add up to the other rewards ingame.
If you guys want a change better ask for the AE rewards(milestone and rank rewards) to be buffed.

Agreed but point wasnt to track performance of members so much as make everything we do that would be consdered a battle count towards bot battle

Yeah, friendly competition is nice and keeps people somewhat motivated. Rewards go to everyone, but a lot of folks like them bragging rights. I don’t think special rewards should go to the highest scoring member because that could just lead to strife within the alliance.

The only thing as it currently stands, someone could bring Megatron all the way down to the last unstoppable phase themselves and get knocked out. Then another member jumps in and gets the KO on Megatron. They get the full bot battle points. Hard to have friendly competition when the points are so skewed.

However, at the end of the day, it’s still all for the alliance and doesn’t make a difference for the individual.

if you read the thread thoroughly, you will understand that this "reward" is the ranking. now the thread is about this special reward that was never even brought up.
