So after the first 2 arenas, I'd say I'm not.at.all satisfied. 10 crystals gives me less than 20k gold and 20+ energons. It's time consuming to break the 15~20 streak (have to wait for 20+ wins to use those r1 4*'s). And when the arena, the am and the raid items all reset at 2000 hours, it ruins my family time.
This October update is beneficial to me because with the same investment of time I get more guaranteed rewards. Good work Kabam, keep changing for the better!
I bet it's harder to get the bots like it's always been ever time it's always harder to get the bot u like from raids that are 3* bots besides the 2*bots the last raid I play was the 2*-3*Shockwave I calculated it it would take forever to get a 3*bot that costs 10k and now there's 4*bots I bet no one is going to get a chance on the 4*s basically tells me we aren't getting a better amount of chance to get the bot. Yeah I like what's coming up on October 5th but I bet I might only get the 3*bots only it's hard and it seems it's getting harder the only people I think that will be able to get them is YouTubers they always gets better stuff than us lower class people
I haven't seen this commented on (perhaps I missed it) but the drop in price on featured bot crystals is really nice. I guess that makes up for part of the lost energon from the arenas.
Same here HerbalDragon. I was getting at least 40k chips a day if not more. Now i get bs for all the time i play.
40 arena crystals worth of chips a day? Highly doubt that. If this was the case you'd be top 5 in every single arena, 4* and 3*.

Remember, we have an arena each day now. So math your rewards over the course of an entire week, not per arena. How many arenas had arena chips in the old system? 3 or 4? I know one did not.
You get arena crystal payouts every day... 7 times in the new system, and if you finish top tier in all of them, it's actually something like 120 arena crystals a week, maybe more.
You're gonna find the payouts are much closer than you think they are, if not better.

Anyone claiming 40 arena crystals a day is "easy" has pants ablaze. There is nothing easy about 40 crystals a day, whether you are actually earning them or just talking trash.
If you had the energon to make 40 arena crystals a day and you only have 3 4* bots... You're doing it very, very wrong.
Spend your energon on the right stuff, because you can't get 40 crystals a day for free and they would be better served improving your roster.
Some people don't care about getting a high win streak. After 3x multiplier it's the same points. So if someone kept rebuilding their multiplier instead of going for a high streak they'd get lots of crystals.
Building a multiplier is 1.5 crystals. You can do that every hour with 1 star bots.
If you have 21 two star bots (7 series) you can earn 2.1 crystals per 2 hours.
Say you have an equal number of 3* bots.
In 6 hours you can earn 19 crystals just from 1*-3* bots. Factor in cooldowns and you can earn significantly more with 1* and 2* bots.
And this is the problem with rank rewards, it doesn't factor in at all the battles people do to build the multiplier or rebuild when a streak is broken.
If you go for a high streak, more than half your roster is wasted because you can't use them past 15 wins. People that are only going for milestone rewards are quite happy to break their streak and rebuild because a top 50 point score doesn't matter.
It's a different play style with a different goal, both are valid, but one is heavily punished in the new system.

5. 24 hrs is too short to build a meaningful streak past 15, many bots can't be used and it's offset by the points lost by not using them.
People like myself, people like herbal, people that aren't trying for top 50, people who just want the milestones, I dare say the majority of people, could play in a way that earns them far more arena crystals than what the new rank rewards offer.

This is true I always played only for milestones but did not rebuild my streak simply to hit the last milestone asap as arena is grinding yes nut used to be very rewarding with milestones plus a low to mid rank reward. Gold is the problem and arena was the best place to earn it. Giving us a little extra in winning a series doesn't make up for the loss of bigger gold earnings in arena crystals.
I completely agree with Terminal. Now with the new system, I'm force to win the 15 streak. It's even more dangerous on the 16-20th battle as I have to put at least a 3* team of raw PI 3300+ (raw=no synergy and no mastery boost, just plain sum of the PI) to fight for the 16 to 20th battles. All the other bots are useless until after 20, where you can use 3* and r1 4*s. But all those 2*'s are wasted. I use to break the streak once I hit the final milestone and farm for gold. Now I simply can't. 10 crystals a day and I'm on the verge of starvation.
Geez, may those 1-day Arena go to trash and bring back the Featured bot Arenas, where presumably we'll have milestones and the 3*/4* split.
Sad to say im one of those people with no lifes, this new arena changed bones me hard, i made 30-50 arena crystals in a day, so i guess good for those who dont put the time in. but the rewards dont compare to what i could earn before in gold and energon.
It's not great for casual players either because we don't have any guaranteed milestones to aim for.
@Kabam Miike I'm fine with the rank rewards, I indeed have misjudged then since I can get 1950 shards per week from just getting 3-10%, however what is not alright is the fact that arena shards are gone.. The crystals you get from ranks are just not good enough.. 15 for 1-5? Come on.. This is bad comedy.

All they need to do is keep the arena crystal payouts the same across the former brackets (3-10, 11-20, etc.) While adjusting the feature arena prizes across the smaller brackets.
This way they don't hamper gold earnings as severely

The point of this game is to make us money, not give you the customer an enjoyable experience. When I stopped exactly on 650k (all milestones) in the old 2 crystal bounty my rank was 11-20%.
If the next crystal bounty has been pushed up like today's arena then I might be done with this game.

Double check the latest day arena, they just nerfed the rewards. the 20% rank reward is now the 7% rank reward.
The rewards are not great now.
