Loosing in arena battles while you have won.

Not sure if anybody has mentioned this or that someone has also noticed it. I have gotten a few times now that I won the first battle, lost the second, won the third one. But I still loose the first battle and go back to square one while I know that I have won two times.
So has anybody else gotten this or am i the only one
