Re: Blaster
He's not top 3 and hasn't got much utility but I still think he's one of the most fun techs in the game, definetly worth r4 and even r5

@Kabam Vydious Read this properly, and please don't close this... Lol. Seriously though, I agree with all the things.
Re: Will we see you again on discord?
This is a prime example of what we lose without the archival nature of the forum.
Re: An idea for Kabam: New bots with out having to make new bots!!!
Fair point, but what I meant was: without having to make new bots from scratch - so the basic modelling work has been done already.
Re: Is there anyone here left from the beginning?
Been here since day 1! Honestly yeah it does sick to see one of my favorite games of all time crumble before our eyes
Re: An idea for Kabam: New bots with out having to make new bots!!!
I hadn’t heard of Rewind before, but yeah it would have been fun to have a whole shelf of tape bots! Rumble could have had an awesome animation of the ground breaking. Laserbeak could have been fun too... super though it would be challenging to make the tape modes work well - although possible I guess.
Re: An idea for Kabam: New bots with out having to make new bots!!!
I always thought it would be a cool idea to make rewind as a playable bot but he would need completely new animations..

Re: After trying it out, Discord is not a suitable replacement for the forums
Suggestions? I don't know Discord enough to really make meaningful suggestions. I guess if users could create a channel, say, in a users' channel category or something that could act like a thread on a forum. Posts in that channel would just be related to the channel topic. These could be archived and hidden only to show up in search results for reference or something.
Do I think this could work? Yes and no, but slightly leaning toward no. The sidebar category could get a little too crazy and people could abuse it a little too much even if strict rules were specified for creating a new one. And I wouldn't want a crazy sidebar. Even though I can collapse a category, that would sorta defeat the purpose as I would start ignoring things like I do in global, err, I mean general chat.
Mods could create more channels to separate the discussions, but those would still be a little too broad and too many. One of the Discord servers I joined at a ton of channels. I ended up muting those. lol
Still think there could be a few more channels though to separate things out more. At least have an off-topic channel and move non-game related chatter there and keep general for FTF.
