The ranged sword attacks and special threes

When I use my ranged sword attacks and then my special three they don't move but then when when its done and use my ranged sword attacks again they move. Why?

    What do you mean by this? From the information you are giving its normal if they're not dead cuz I mean you're still in the match and playing?

    I think only I can understand this. I once used Soundwave against Drift, taken his S2 and will soon bleed to death. I fired my S3 to stop the death sentence. The S3 didn't kill Drift and my life is drained to zero. Upon finishing the S3, I saw another sword swinging in air and killed my Soundwave!
    How creative.
