Crystal Opening Event

So I’ve been following the events of the past few days pretty closely, and I’ve been optimistic that Kabam is going to stay in business and make it all right soon. Then I had a realization... the crystal opening event is a way for us to burn off all of our remaining assets, so that the game doesn’t end with us having crystals stockpiled. If we open them all (during this event) we’ll end the game having spent everything we earned, leaving no room to complain that we still had things that needed to be accomplished. This leaves less of a bad impression and everyone will happily move over to MCOC.

Let me know what you think of this theory

    It's more to get top spenders to buy 300 gon crystal. Shard produced bots are not worth much in points

    @Killdozer I smell what you’re cooking & wouldn’t put it past Kabam. However I think it’s their way to kick off buying 5*s by supplementing resources & placating us players. Don’t get the wrong idea Kabam I still think you oppress discussion of areas of improvement.

    Nah the interest level is not as high for Rat event compared to OGP event. Rat has already been released and quite a few people already have him awakened with this month’s awakening program. Besides, wheeljack is a much better bot compared to Rat. No one will spend for Rat.
