Game turns off screen

Does anyone else have this thing where when you launch the game it will turn off your screen? It doesn't do it all the time maybe 4/10 times but I just have to hit the phones unlcok button to get the game to continue launching. I'm running the latest version of the game and my pixel is also fully updated. Also it has just been happening the last week or two.

It sounds like your device may be timing out due to inactivity. On your device go to Settings, then Display. Here you should locate an option to change the time before your phone locks you out. If you are unable to find this option here, please refer to your devices instruction manual.
