Leveling up mods have any effect?

I know people haven't put much weight into the mods, but I was just wondering, does leveling up the mods have any effect for that node? Or just ranking it up? Looking at the mod info, it doesn't look like any of the abilities improved from leveling. I guess it could help the harm accelerator?

    Leveling increases the base stats granted to your bot (hp and atk rating)

    Ranking up is what levels up the actual mod abilities.

    Same as ranking and leveling bots.

    Is the attack and health of a mod added to the bot?

    Absolutely!

    Why else would they have bothered to give mods HP and attack?

    Does no one realize this?!
