Avoiding Mirage S2

So I've had this issue for awhile, but have been too embarrassed to ask: how do you keep from taking damage on Mirage's unlockable S2? I can avoid the blaster, but then he just teleports to my location and punches me in the face, no matter what I try. I basically treat him like he has two S3 attacks at this point, but I know there has to be a way.
