Question about Arena Crystals?

Just something that's been bugging me for a while...

Why are the arena crystals not under the Shard Crystal section?

Because it's arena Chip that you earned?

For all intents and purposes it's exactly the same as collecting shards to trade in for crystals that can then be opened.

At this time, yes, but as you can see in the Alliance Treasury, you are able to donate Arena Chips to be used as the cost to open a Map to run. This isn't utilized right now, but it may be in the future when more maps are added!
