Actually I kind of like these offers, since I'm not even tempted. Question is who bought this? And why?
(Also want to add that they gave out classic Optimus for free. Just saying...)

This is the same deal from months ago, and many people have back stock full of expiring T1 alpha.
Seems way mis-priced. Value isn't close to here (and I bought this same deal when you sold it last time). Shouldn't we be seeing at least T3b if not T2a in this deal, or a lower price? It truly is just a 4* MV1 and nothing else. The Alpha daily deal has more value in it otherwise.
If there is no value for you Tek then don't buy it. Maybe this offer wasn't for players in your position near the top, it could be for players who started later and are coming up through the system.
Kabam has said in the past that not every offer will apply to all and this is one of them. Considering you are sitting on expiring alpha sparks it must be nice to be in that position. For me personally it was fine because i needed the bot and the alpha sparks. Do i want more T3B and T2A...yes but that will be in the new arenas and alliance missions starting Thursday.
Sooooo... it doesn't bother you at all that this is the exact same deal item for item that they gave us 3 months ago? There is item deflation, but this deal acts like that's not a thing.
This has nothing to do with it not being a value for myself, those t1a's in this deal should be influencing NO ONE. If you're buying this, you just don't have an issue with spending $100 on MV1 on his own, when he's in PBC.
Again, the issue I am pointing out is that it is the same deal again, but the items have less value. It would be like if I was trying to sell you last week's newspaper for the same price.
But the point i am making is not everyone is as progressed as people who have played the game since the april release. This offer allows others to catch up on their roster while not creating a bigger gap than we already have between long time hardcore players and short time or casual players. The problem lies in your perspective that you want all offers to benefit your needs and not the needs of thousands of other players who don't see anywhere near as much alpha or T3B that you see being in a top alliance.
will definitely shell out USD100 for Rachet 4* tho.. KABAM please do it! rotate those bots on sale instead of just MV1 zzz.. not everyone needs him that badly u know.
i don't care about the materials.. will wait for them via farming or drops. I just want my 4* rachet aaaaa...
true that as well.
inightskies has a point (above video at 4:55).. putting in a T3 basic spark would have persuaded him much more to purchase the MV1 4* deal.
It shouldn't matter that they are not as progressed as I am. I'm not saying that a deal for a 4* bot shouldn't exist.
It is very simple, really. This deal was offered before. At the time, MV1 was not even available in feature crystals. It was literally the ONLY way to acquire him. Then, they were offering t1a along with it, which at the time were valued around $20-30 apiece, because the only real way to get them at the time was as a high end AM reward. You could get them in raid, but it would take about a month to complete one with frequent raiding.
Now it is completely different. MV1 is now not only in feature crystals, but he is in basic crystals as well. Meanwhile, the t1a that are being offered can now be quickly completed in raid, and are being offered as rewards left and right. No matter what level of the game you are at, this means that their value is lower, because of lack of scarcity.
So again, this has nothing to do with me. It has nothing to do with how I personally value the items in the deal. I don't dispute that some people will find more value in the deal, but that doesn't make it less of a rip off. Those people should be able to purchase a deal to "close the gap" for far less money. That is the whole idea with closing the gap... as the game ages, you should be able to close the gap far quicker, with less effort, and for less money than the pioneers of the game spent.
Not sure why you are effectively taking Kabam's side on that.
Thanks Kabam!
I support Kabam on this coz I wanna see them selling other bots in future (**Rachet please **cough cough**)
And yea it makes a bad selling point if MV1 is already in the 4* shards. They should pick a bot that isn't in the 4* non-featured crystal rotation yet instead... and make sure it's a bot that is in high demand (they have statistics to track which bots are top sellers via crystals).
If you want Mv1, this is a sure fire way to get him for $100. Which is a good deal because you pay for the guarantee. Of course back when they first offered him and he wasn't available in any crystal, it was much better value for your money, but don't undervalue this deal. Don't compare it to how easily it is obtained, compare it to what that same $100 would get you in other places in the game, then suddenly it's much more favorable comparison for MV1 deal.
I already have Mv1 duped, so not getting it. But if it was Starscream, I wouldn't hesitate. I'm buying feature crystals every time they come around hoping to dupe him, if $100 would save me that casino, I'd gladly go for it. Surely there are plenty people who feel the same about MV1.
