Major issue with Launch Event and Warrior Sparks

So this game has been out for a couple of days, and yet it requires you to get to level 25 before you can participate in the Optimus Prime event. There's just over a day left on the event.

I'm wondering also how I'm going up against warrior bots in the arena who have progressed to Rank 3 and beyond, considering how warrior sparks cannot be purchased anywhere and there hasn't yet been a daily event which gives them as a reward. How is that happening?

Seems new players are getting shafted from the get-go and put at an extreme disadvantage, because this does affect leaderboards and event rewards if some players are able to get ahead of others in spite of the launch due to beta content carrying over. Otherwise I have no idea how anyone thought this was a good idea, to have a launch event with a level requirement most players wouldn't achieve until toward the end of said event, and pitting newer players against players who have an advantage from prior to the public launch in the case of the warrior sparks.

Unless those are just bots Kabam threw in to give me something tough to fight, in which case I ask, what the hell? That's quite unfair, and it's not like I can just buy the sparks, either.

Warrior sparks are only available on tuesdays for t1 and t2 on sundays t1 for all sparks are in the daily section. Most likely the player bots you are seeing are those of us who played in the beta.

New players and beta players are not in the same leaderboards. You also get a bonus on us because for out rank rewards only the top 1 player gets the featured bot you guys get way way more then that.

And this here is a problem. Beta play shouldn't be carried over into a full launch with an event because it screws new players. Say what you will about DeNA's TF games but they understood the value of having everyone start on an equal playing field as not to put new players at a distinct disadvantage.

That's ridiculous logic. Firstly, I can only see one leaderboard and beta players are on it. If there were multiple leaderboards I shouldn't even be allowed to face beta players in the arena, and they shouldn't be allowed to compete with new players for those rewards.

That's not even to mention, I'm competing in the arena fights BECAUSE I want that top bot. You getting that top bot makes it easier for you to perform better in future game events and it becomes harder and harder for newer players to catch up. It creates a distinct disadvantage which breaks the game for newer players, and screws us badly.

In the history of mobile gaming, this effect only gets worse as time goes on, and dominoes. It doesn't give us any real tangible advantage, so this "bonus" you speak of is completely pointless and useless to us.

You see no leaderboard for Arena at all it does not get made until the arena is over, the only leaderboard you can see right now is for Raiding.

1 single player from the beta version is able to get the bot from arena, for you new players 250 players get the 2 star bot 50 get the 3 star and 5 get the 4 star.

Yes you might be facing an AI that has bots that are stronger then you. But quess what so is everyone else, we beta players face the same type of bots in 4 star arena that are ranked higher then we can rank because Alpha sparks where only obtained by about 8 people in the entire beta.

You are on an equal level with everyone you are going against for the prize. They face the same thing you do. we faced the same thing when we where new against Kabams premade teams.

I'm confused because in the 4* arena we play fully maxed out 4* teams so does this mean anything Bc we can't get the sparks to lvl our 4* bots to max. No you said ignorant get off the forums your posts are pointless

And the npc bots that you fight aka Optimus and megatron teams are way higher level than any player level is capable so you still have no valid point about fighting ai controlled bots that increase in difficulty no matter who you face

And as stated on these boards and your posts many times you are not competing against beta players we won't be on your leaderboards nor you on ours
  • The level to participate in the special events is actually only 12, which most players should be able to get to within a week, and the events don't expire in 24 hours, but will slowly unlock until the end of the month, when they will all disappear together. So you'll still be able to participate in many of them at once, as soon as you hit level 12.

As for the Sparks, each day there are daily missions that let you earn Spark Essence for Tier 1 and Tier 2, and on Sunday you can earn Tier 1 Spark Essence for any class you would like. This is far too early to say that you can't catch up, since the game has only be out for 3 days.
