Restarting Bot Battle Comments

I've decided to leave my alliance after this AM cycle, but due to the screwup with bot battle, I won't be able to collect my rewards until after the next AM starts.
Any chance bot battle could be changed to end a little bit earlier?
Original thread is locked for some reason or I would post there.
