Can't forge 3 Star Sharks into 4 Star Crystals

So, I've forged all my 2 star and got 3 star crystals, but that was not until I actually waited out the calendar to get a 3 star shark. Now that I have five 3 star sharks, they can't forge into each other, so how does one get a hold of 4 star ones?

    You have to forge into a higher star bot. If you have no 4* you're stuck for now.

    I have three 4 star bots. Mirage, Ramjet and Windblade. So what you're saying is to forge my 3 star bots into any of them and then I'll get 4 star shark crystals?
