Extra bonus items from away missions?

Just wondering if anyone else has seen extra bonus items pop up from away missions. Just completed a uncommon away mission for gold with bonus ore. After tapping on reveal results, I kept tapping the screen so I could launch the next away mission.

However, while tapping, I saw bonus items pop up and it was a picture of crystal shards. Not sure exactly on what it was (3 star crystal possibly?) and I don’t keep track of my crystal shards to know if anything went up.

Could have just been a visual glitch too.

Did you forge any bots prior? The game will sometimes lag and not display the bonus message until later.

Hmmm, I think I may have, but it there was at least probably five minutes or so between. But now that I think of it, the pop up bonus item did have that appearance you see from forging.
