What happen to gaining bots in arenas?

Before bot chips were a thing I remember back when the game first came out and players were able to try to make it to the top to obtain 2/3/4* bots in arenas i actually like it better this way

    That went away sometime last fall when they changed the arenas and brought in the featured bot chips.

    I think you're the only one. That's a leaderboard function that most people absolutely hate and has been the downfall of Earth Wars.
