MINIMUM SPEC REQUIREMENTS

Hi all,
I'd like to start a discussion on SoC/Device combos that DON'T TOTALLY SUCK for this game.
Let's all contribute so Noobs or those with limited spec knowledge don't end up whining why their NEW-ish device DOESN'T give a satisfying experience, and the MODS read this, consider optimization!
Let's start off with Brand/SoC/Spec/RATING/Faults.

MOTOROLA
Z Play, 7.1, SD625, 4-32GB (**½)
- Constantly FC during Raids, Daily Missions
- Long Loading Times
- Lag

Moto Z Force, 8.0, SD820, 4-64GB (***½)
- Good all-round experience, SMOOTH
- Phone overheats, TERRIBLE BATTERY LIFE

C Plus, 7.0, MTK6747, 2-16GB (****)
- Surprising smooth, RARE FC
- Great ENTRY DEVICE for F2F

E⁴ Plus, 7.1.1, MTK6737, 3-32GB (***)
- NOT as good as the C Plus, FC sporadically
- DECENT experience with minimal lag

G5S Plus, 7.1.1, SD625, 4-32GB (***½)
- Smooth, minimal FC, great rendering
- Battery hog

Moto Z2 Play, 7.1.1, SD626, 4-64GB (****)
- EXCELLENT experience, great balance
- Pair with Battery MOD for endurance

Nexus 6, 7.1.1, SD805, 3-64GB (**)
- Fast loading and NO lag, but FC every 5min!
- FRUSTRATING. Avoid.
P.S- Similar Motorola includes the Droid Turbo.

Moto DROID Turbo 2, 7.0, SD810, 3-64GB (***)
- OK experience, fast loading with MINIMAL FC.
- Phone OVERHEATS, Battery hog!

    OK,

    So
    SAMSUNG
    J7 2017, Exynos 7870, 3-16GB (****)
    - Smooth
    - Great battery life
  • Get as much players as possible is the goal, game experience is less important.
opinion: this thread will be pointless, they had over a year of time

Interestingly, it seems lower spec devices get the graphics lowered a little bit so it runs smoother. Higher end devices has everything cranked up so you get the lag, crashing, and heating up.

Funny that MID-RANGE devices suffer the most.
Which is the point of this thread.
Modern devs can't keep up with the sheer number of Androids out there, so it's rare to see a GPU intensive title with SET SPECS.
Every little bit of info (from us) helps.

Iphone 8+ no overheating, only lags when 1% bottery power, no overheating, does get slightly warm after extended periods

Iphone 6 lags, overheats, plays like frame to frame at times absolutely kills battery, less than an hour from 100% to shutting down and at times the phone just randomly shuts off during gane play

iPhoneX buttery smooth, but battery life nothing to write home about.
Surprising jitter on iPad Pro, though.
    CONCLUSION:
iPhone8+ is King of the Hill for iOS gaming.

    UPDATE for v6.3+:
SD625 devices (Moto G5S Plus, Moto Z Play, etc ) now nearly UNPLAYABLE.
    Multiple crashes, FCs and overheating.

SD626 (Moto Z2 Play) and SD630 (Moto X4) are fine, only limited by battery life.

Ironically still runs SUPERBLY on MTK6737 (Moto C Plus: 2GB RAM/16GB; Moto E⁴ Plus 3GB/32GB) and MediaTek Helio P15 (Moto M: 4GB RAM/32GB).
Just slightly long loading times on the C Plus and pared down graphics.
But no crashes or major lag during AM or any other modes. The C Plus' 4000mAh battery gives you 1hr of non stop play for 9% battery life.

If you're an iPhone 6S, 7, iPad user and don't want to break the bank on an iPhone 8 or X; the Motorola C Plus is an ultra BUDGET device which gets F2F done for $100.
    eBay is your friend.

Maybe kabam could take the hint and fix the issue, I’m sure they’d rather we gave them that 100 as opposed to having to pay that just to play the game.

iPhone 6s/portable hot plate after 5 minutes.

I've read many stories of PURE FRUSTRATION and despair on the forums from iPhone 6, 7 and iPad owners, with multiple accounts of overheating devices.
And some are from OVER A YEAR AGO.
    GUESS THEY CAN'T FIX IT.
Some iOS users have put in SO MUCH TIME and $$$ into this, so $80-100 on a budget dual SIM device PLUS prolonging your iPhones' lifespan seems logical
I bought the Moto C Plus purely as an emergency travel/business phone from an airport counter.
Neither my iPad Pro or Moto Z Force can handle the game without literally catching fire.
Happy coincidence Google phones ask if you'd like to 'copy apps to your new device'.
Agreed, then found F2F residing in the app drawer.
Gave it a go out of curiosity; no way could this $80 phone running some entry MTK SoC handle F2F, right?
    WRONG.
Does really well despite the scaled back graphics!
    Been using it since.
