He's a specialist. He can nullify so many irritating buffs in special content, and mop the floor with tantrum in spotlight.
I haven’t tried him yet in spotlight. Does the nullify shock damage do more than the repair from the energon shield? Or can it also nullify the energon shield (with an awakened Starscream)? That’d be something crazy if it does....
Yeah, but if you're choosing between tac bots and nullify is important you'd take Ultra Magnus every day of the week. He does everything starscream can do plus he has armour break and better melee abilities. That's not balanced.
Starscream’s null ray will also nullify armor which will also inflict instant shock damage. His S2 has armor break as well. He can nullify unstoppable when his sig procs. His nullify with the S3 hits a bunch too. Launch it when the AI has a bunch of buffs (like say a stack of Primal crit armor) and you can see the health drop.
Agree on the weak melee for Starscream. He hits like a coward. Hmmm.....

Hands down the worse bot in the game. He needs a total makeover starting with that nasty 5* synergy. Add some burn to his sp1 & make his sp2 100% armor break. I recall his sp3 use to nulify all buffs but know it's only 5.
no no, he isn't the worst, he is better than unduped Grimlock. When he is duped, he can actually wreck a lot of bots and he does have some pretty sweet synergy (not talking about 5*).
He just lacks something small
He sucks! I know because I’ve got him and use him quite frequently.
And I know, because I have him at 5/50 and use him for raids, spotlight, AM and used him for RoK...

lol, I used to take Starscream solely for the Megatron stun synergy. Then I realised how powerful he can be and ranked him right up
