How do I change my characters!!!

I am playing on the IOS version. For some reason I can seem to ding the option to change my main characters before or after fighting someone. I have been forced to fight with the first 3 bots I got. Please help!!! This is super frustrating.

    I hope you have figured this out by now, and apologies for not catching this post sooner. It can be quite frustrating when you forget to click save lineup at bottom left of screen I believe, and jump in with wrong bots.

    I had done it a few times. That's the answer that comes to mind.
