Bot defence, tips and ideas on my mods and choices?

Ive had this game for a while, but im still not that good, regardless of the bots I have, due to my bad updating choices, and general playstyle, but I really want tips. I will provided a list of my mods and bots that I currently have, and if you could help me upgrade it if u could that would be great.

Node 1: (First one during a raid) (2 and 3 represent left and right, respectively) 4-star bludgeon (literally got him like 10 minutes ago from a daily crystal haha)
Power rating: 875.
Mod selected: 3-star Nightbirds Mark, 126 rating.

Node 2: 4- Star Grindor
Power rating: 782
Mod: Robot Resource, 3 star, 27 rating.

Node 3: 4-Star ramjet
Power rating: 803
Mod: 3 star laser guidance module, 27 rating.

Node 4:Ultra Magnus 4 star
Power rating: 772
Mod: 2 Star repair module, 14 rating.

Node 5 (5 and 6 left and right, respectively) 4-star megatron
Power rating: 802
mod: 2 star Emi module, 13 rating.

Node 6: 3 Star megatron
Power rating: 730
Mod: Exo-filter 2 star, and 13 rating

Node 7:3-star tantrum
power rating: 983
Mod: 2 star harm accelerator, 15 rating.

If you could please tell me what other mods i should get or put there, or other info thatd be great. I have much better bots, but I use them 24/7 and I can't select base bots in missions so :/

    Pair Harm Accelerator with high duped MotorMaster,, it wreck the havoc outta you

    Sometimes I feel all the gold I poured into my defence is wasted. Nothing can defend against a good 4 star rank 5 team. You just have to have an essential key, a MV1 for your HA mod . Or a PRimal or beast war synergy team.
    You are better off spending units on shields if needed.

    You raise your base defense rating to:
    * Achieve certain objectives
    * Give raiders more raid chips with less headache (Focus on Security and Repair mod. Using Harm Accelerator is as selfish as building a shitty base)
    * Farm more gold as a by product of leveling up your redundant bots

    If you don't know how to setup a good base, learn from Quintessons.

    Well, if I could have a duped 4 star r5 tac Megatron with robot resource on three different nodes, I'd do it.

    Actually, the bot aren't the problem, the mods are.

    That's plain impossible because, for like 90% of the Q base, the 2 days were I was raiding as hell, all their mod was exclusive mod a.k.a : Mod that you can obtain like once in a while if you are lucky ( Or actually I don't even know how to get them beside the achievement )
    So na, you can't learn from those

    I agree than Robot Resource Mods work well with Movie Megs and MM
