Baiting Specials

In MCOC, baiting specials and the dexterity mastery go hand in hand.

It feels like you actually have to attack in order to get the AI to activate the special but then in most cases it is too late to evade the special when this happens. Is there another way?

    You learn dash side to side hit into blocks each bot is dofferent

    Sidestepping in this game is your friend... way more useful than backstepping

    Sidestep repeatedly, it inches you closer to the enemy each time, then dash back or block when you feel you are in range.

    Rinse, repeat.

    It's a good way to bait specials out of the opponent.
