So i have the 5 star signature upgrades, but it says I don't have any bots I can use it on.... I have a 5 star kickback... ???

    You need to have your bot awakened first to use them. All they do is increase your signature level, not unlock it.

    Thats pretty stupid tbh lol. Chances of duplicating my only 5 star are so low

    That's the same with 4*. Why do they put on 300 energon crystals with a chance of a 5*? 5* Awakening Program will follow.

    Why do people keep asking this question? It's obvious you can't add signature value to a bot if they aren't awakened yet. Especially since awakening programs exist.
