no Opening Crystals event?

It's not that I'm complaining, since I'll be able to keep my crystals for tomorrow, but I was expecting to have the event this month too.
Did Kabam decided to move it to the start of the new Special Mission, or the feedback for the event was so bad they decided to not do it anymore?

    It was a one time event.

    They had that event to try and get players to dump all their bot crystals to make it harder to get bot chips for the 5 star Megatronus.

    I got 5* Megatronus twice & 5* Prime for free thanks for hoarding my crystals.

    But they did tie it together with the daily bot crystal arenas, so it was worth it...

    The crystal event would be just awesome on the 1st week of the month
    We could open our crystals for the new 4star bot in the raid store
    And score points for our team it would be great 👍

    It would just make sense to do it this way we open our crystals at the start of the month anyway lol why not score a little bit of points
