Can someone please explain the defense/offense/utility sparks? As in how do they work?

Sorry if this is trivial question for some of you.

    Mods are divided into the categories...like the harm accelerator is an offensive mod, the security module is defensive, and the paralyzer is utility...and so on. Just like the bots have classes. It's based on their function, it's just not as easy to distinguish and sort them as it is the bots.
    You can kinda guess at what they are based on their function...otherwise just click the rank up button and it'll tell you what's needed to rank them up.

    For some odd reason, I was looking for Use Item like the bots.
