Every other game mode runs smooth except for expert and above with lag

Am I doing something wrong? I’m running an iPhone X no other apps running but when ever I run expert and above the Lag is unbearable and causes my bots to take unnecessary hits. Is there a trick to use the Lag to my advantage?
