Question about the monthly achievements

So you know when your bot is max ranked and you pull a duplicate and it basically shows as nothing?
What happens with this? Since I've maxed this fella out I haven't pulled him again, like evah...is it even possible with a 4*?npoz1rubreae.jpg

    I think you can still pull him, but you only get Crystal Shards. The character's Sig level doesn't increase

    My question was do I still get the achievement?

    I think it would be great if we got the achievement each month if we actually HAVE the 4* bot in our barn rather than have 30 days to pull or buy the specific bot in question.
