Rank up which bot?

I don’t even have megatronus. Wasp I don’t even want to rank up to 4/5.....

Wasp is too heavy reliant, and overall feels like a bad bot to me. I only want skorponok, rinox, monkey king and maybe Cheetor....

Megatronus even I get 3 5stars per month, I might get unlucky with the rolls and wait another year unless there is chip bot

Wasp isn’t a bad bot by any means. He’s a proper ranged specialist, most other ranged bots pale in comparison.

His heavy is really useful and lands with ease when below 50% health. Until then utilise his basic ranged for the resistance debuffs, land 2 followed by a combo, launch a sp1 and he does a healthy amount of damage for the effort. The debuffs lock during a sp3 as well so if you land 3 followed by a heavy before your sp3, especially below 25% health, and he deals insane damage. Even the 2 ranged followed by combo ending with a heavy deals a good chunk of damage as the resistance debuffs kick in just as the combo ends.

When you have the ranged speed buff, his heavy is a great way to catch the opponent out in the middle of a ranged battle.

Considering the 2 hit ranged followed by a combo is standard practise for maximum damage, it’s easy to integrate it into your playstyle with him.

He even makes for a good defender as well, slap him on emi module or something and he’ll at least do a good chunk of damage.

Don’t underestimate wasp. Use him properly and he is DEADLY.

Well you’ve got Rhinox ranked up so wasp would be really good, he’s pretty sick just takes time to master his style

With Megatronus you might not even get to under 50% health.

Comparing Megatronus to wasp is not even necessary. Obviously Megatronus is better, but my question is when do you expect him to be made available? It's Megatronus, he won't just appear next month in the store!

So in my opinion, wait for a different demo unless you REALLY want a rank 5 wasp, in which case I can't stop you

My goal is to fully explore master spotlights. But I maybe able to do it with 4/5 ranked team with some forging.

I will potentially loose a lot or months of worth of master exploring rewards. But given T4 is so rare, I want to wait for megatronus.

To be honest, his play style is the worst play style in the game for me personally. I like up close beat the hell out of each other style.

I think I will hold off on ranking him. T4 is so rare. When i can do 120 difficulty alliance mission I will rank him up as second choice

I'm doing it with a squad of mostly maxed in general 4*s (with the exception of 5* rank 4 bee), just need to 100% kickback final level now. In most cases it's actually more fun than with a powerful squad of 5*s

Damn you are good at this.

That’s the other point, I can max forge my 4/5 bots and with some practice should do master no problem. No need to waste T4 for a bot I just hate playing

With the exception of maybe hound, there really isn’t a bad bot. Just that many of them are really underestimated because they require a particular playstyle to get the most out of them. Look at the recent tantrum thread. Some don’t like using him as it alters their playstyle too much, but if you alter yours to suit the bot, literally any of them can be great.

Wasp and mixmaster are great examples of underrated bots because they’re a bit pillow fisted. But it’s when you take advantage of the ranged game they bring, and you see the damage they do.

    I totally agree with you.

Though the point of all these kind of discussions are mostly for vs high rating bot and high difficulty mod.

So in that sense, we are trying to compare, which bot can beat most other bots/mods more easily while having less counters and such.

So megatronus is much more versatile in most situations. That’s why most people talked about how OP he is.

Why people talk about nerfing robotronus, cuz he is just damn good on that mod. So he is good offender and defender in most situations.

I guess the question is, how long are you willing to wait?

Unless your churning out a 5* at least every month, consider your chances of landing tronus. Of all my 5* pulls, ive duped quite a few of them, and I’d gladly swap many of the duped ones for megatronus. Yet until last week I still didn’t have a tech. And still waiting on my first demo 5*.

Point is, you might not get him for a long time. I’m not holding my breath on the chances of him popping up in the store either

This is a valid concern but then you have to ask, how long would the player have to wait to get another T4 Demo spark?

My guess is Megatronus will be available in the next 3-4 months.

That’s exactly my point, without AM, you have to wait another full year for another T4 to be for sale. Even then the chance of getting demo one is 1/6....
