incorrect story rewards

I was going through replaying a completed story mission and after beating the boss it said the reward was 8x 225 ore. I remembered the number because I was happy because I didn't get any drops leading up to the boss so I thought this balances it out. Then on the next screen, the final summary screen the total ore for the whole mission was a lower number, only 5.
Checking my inventory I had less than max and nothing unclaimed, and I didn't have 8x 225 ore in my inventory, only 5.
Sadly, I didn't think to screen the boss drop because I didn't know it would change on the next screen.
