High lvl AI needs to be more accessible

There is no sandbox mode, no practice mode.

The master spotlight AI is generally stupid even on the hardest path. Occasionally I see the final boss doing something smart.

But in general we need high lvl AI to be more accessible.

Do you know what I had to do? I created 4 altnerate accounts, and played 300 rating bot vs 2400 rating AI to hopefully simulate fight against high lvl AI.

And again did someone tell u how hard it is to lvl up 4 alt accounts? I have a life outside of this game btw

Why would you create alt accounts?

Just use your base level 2* and 3* bots that are on your main account roster, and fight in arena.

After win streak 7 you should get nothing but death squads for using your weak bot teams

    Yes, problem is this.

    1. U need concentrated efforts to practice, not like fight 1 different bot every time, u need to fight a bot over and over and over again to really understand his mechanics.
    2. There is no mod in arena, it makes or breaks the fight, imagine galvatron without speed mod.
    3. In arena, if u die, u start all over again, how painful is that

If it is everyone, I imagine we will have 100 way ties, not everyone has played this game for like 2 years and every AM events at top lvl. I know top 3 alliance players getting KOed often enough. So u saying no body need practice..

Maybe it is your super human lvl gamesplay. We as mortals need practice and testing ground. And remember who was it that regreted rank 5/5 NP?

As far as I can tell, master AI in last mission (highest pi path) is more difficult than high level AM. The AI difficulty reaches its peak at LVL 80 I feel 🤷‍♂️.

I have a suggestion, once you beat a path, make it energy free. (Especially rotk)
Maybe even make it so u can skip any nodes

I haven’t even finished all monthly missions yet due to energy costs...no way I can spend energy to try final path again.

I definitely agree with this. If you've travelled the path already, make it energy free, like AM. Also, once you beat Master, the other lanes of lower difficulty should be cleared (easy, hard, expert)...if you've shown to beat the top game, then grinding the lowest is just busywork. A not fun tedious grind.

This is a good idea, agree totally with it.

Do it when there's an arena you don't care about and wouldn't fight in anyway, so you don't sabotage your win streak.

You don't need a mod present to access high level AI. when there is a large enough power gap between your bot and the opponent, the AI acts similar to spotlight/AM.

It's about practicing vs that high level super fast reaction AI, not the mods. If you get good at anticipating the AI patterns, you'll do better in spotlight and AM as a result.

How do you think the top players got better at the game in the first place?

    😉

If it’s challenge you’re looking for, don’t bring your a-team. Bring a squad of 3*, or some r2 4* or something. That spices things up a bit.

Content is only as challenging as you allow it to be. Bringing a bot that heals or nullifies mods is a good way to play, but go without them.... then use lower level bots. You’ll soon see how much harder things get when every fight is a total drag and you need to avoid getting hit at all costs.

Or join a top AM level Alli. There’s another challenge. There’s plenty to do the hard way if you do choose

Good point. I actually created 6 accounts and play a bg every AM events. Hopefully that’s enough practice 😂
(Btw all my bots are rating 300 except one)

@Mr_Wonderful yes I am practicing against bots 6-7 times my bot rating. See pic above. If I have more time to play ideally I have 18 accounts to practice even mor 😂

With the greatest of respect, re-read that last sentence and tell me if that actually sounds healthy.

You don’t need alt accounts in this game at all. You can’t gift or trade. If you genuinely had the time for 18 accounts I’d question what you do that’s so dull in comparison. That’s a full Alli. Don’t you want to socialise and meet others?

The only alternative is your using a simulator or bluestacks or something. Not my area of expertise. If that’s the case, I’m not sure kabam would look too kindly on that being admitted on the forums.

Either way, it looks like you need a little addiction help. No one needs multiple accounts in a game like this. Save your time and turn 1 account into a top roster instead of melting your thumbs endlessly grinding arena.

No offence meant. But I’ve seen it before when someone says they’re not happy enough with excess accounts. It’s not a pleasant road to go down. Go enjoy life or something

@Mr_Wonderful I think u misunderstood, i have no intention of doing much with alt other than practicing AM. I am not going to play arena or anything. I want to have 18 accounts but I am too busy so I have 6 instead

Why have 6 though? As I said earlier there’s no point. This is time you can devote to a main account. Spice up your AM team with low, low bots, use ones you’ve barely used before.

I do understand your point. Just think your wasting your time with a legion of alts. You can just as easily memorise the counters to said mods, figure the attack pattern’s, or endlessly take on master spotlight bosses for extra practise.

There’s practise and there’s overkill with so many alts. And why not arena? That’s practise isn’t it? Plus it gives your main account rewards for doing so. Doesn’t that help more than a horde of meaningless alt husks that will be ditched later down the line? Not to mention it’ll be practise using the bots you intend on using all this practise for.

That seems like more of a win-win than alts.

Or, give yourself your own challenges. No hitting the block, no using ranged shots, no using heavies, stuff like that. Get creative. It’s a good way of impressioning(?) shock block, or reflect ranged or any other mod onto an opponent that doesn’t currently have it. Then you have the safeguard of not having the loss because you messed up, but know where you went wrong and improve from it.

Give it a try with your main on an arena streak. You’ll find it more testing than melting AM with alts that serve no purpose, and have no reason to chase progression.
