So disappointing yet again with Tech essence even though there is a Tech "miniboss". Ratchet barely ever shows up and there's only one other chance at getting Tech bots with Mirage. Every single run I get spammed with Brawlers and especially Demos. Every single Fog it seems like we get spammed with Demos, that isn't balance.
I often get 2-3 brawler bosses per run, smh. Only rarely do I get tech or warrior.
With an average of 5 runs per day, I’ve formed 2 complete brawler sparks. I did form my first tech and tact t4s as well. Alas, I’ve not reached even half of a warrior one.
It seems that the payout of essence is biased towards the class of the final boss. For instance, the first fog had Tronus as its boss and thus a greater chance of getting Demo essence. Even in last month’s fog, whose boss was Prowl, gave a greater payout of scout essence.
This fog was an epic fail... so much demo tactician and warrior it's not even funny. And of course I get barely any tech even though there's ratchet as a mini boss. Kabam to make up for the huge lack of tech let's make the next fog based around tech essence like this ones based around brawler. Then after that make it all balanced with the boss giving 120 essence of every class
based on all 5 fogs the stats are consistent, each boss is accompanied by several mini-bosses of the same class, plus 2 other mini-bosses:
Fog1: tronus, galv, rotf, plus OGM, cyclonus
Fog2: OGP, dino, dotm, plus MV1, G1 Bee
Fog3: Hound, drift, hotrod, bone, plus grindor, barra
Fog4: Jazz, kickback, barra, sideswipe, pluus thunder, mix
Fog5: Tantrum, thunder, primal, grimlock, plus hotrod, ratchet
You can expect that Fog6 will be tech heavy, or not, this is kabam after all...

Who would be the Tech Main Boss for a FOW? IMO, Shockwave, Soundwave, and Rhinox would be the most likely candidates (in that order). With the Shattered Universe in the game, however, Ratchet & Wheeljack could also be in play.
Speaking of the Shattered Universe & FOW, I would not mind seeing Shattered Grimlock come back for a FOW mission at some point. Woot!

Capital means mini-boss. I desperately need tactician spark.
You can add RATCHET & THUNDERCRACKER to the mini-boss list, as I can confirm those two. Also saw Ironhide & MV1 Prime (& maybe OGP).
Haven’t run into him yet, but apparently OPTIMUS PRIMAL is a Mini-Boss as well.
