Why was the rank range changed for Crystal Bounty?

On friday i got the 3-10% reward. However, yesterday i got a similar amount of points but i got a different rank the 8-12% rank. Why was it changed?

    I had 359,000 points on friday and 345,000 points on saturday

    It was changed to nerf and reduce rewards. Even less rewards than the old system.
