Commander lvl maxed caped at 40?

Hey i just hit 40 in commander lvl. And now the xp bar is not moving and only getting 10xp max a fight sooo i take it that the commander lvl is caped out at 40 as of now. Also can kabam tell me if i was the first to hit lvl 40

Commander Level 40 is currently the cap, but unfortunately, you were not the first player to hit it
