Move alliance missions to weekdays

I don’t know if i can call this so much as a request, a recommendation with a warning. With the individual accountability of the ancient sanctum map, and spring/summer coming within weeks, i think we will see a lot of players drop off unless we get the alliance missions going when people are not enjoying themselves. I have been debating about leaving this game or at the least an alliance—which makes it worth it to leave the game—because of the current schedule. I am on east coast USA time zone. That means the am start at 3 pm. Thursday, Friday, sat Sunday. With the meat of the work for the mission being done between 3-11 pm. The time in my life to be out with friends, doing anything, casinos, bars, movies. Out of loyalty to my alliance, i log on, but not sure how much longer i can go, sneaking out to have a cigarette at a bar to play my turn, and usually not of my best performance after a few drinks. This becoming a think every weekend, it becomes a choice of is this how i spend my free time now, or do i just leave the game. Guess which will happen.

I have seen a few people leave our alliance, and the reason is usually, no price, money, difficulty, just simply life. This is not the time they want to spend playing the game. Maybe most people are like me where i find i log more hours on during the week while at work—breaks between work if boss is reading, lol. Or weekday nights with out much going on.

I know it is not fair, not solves the problem if i say change the time, because this is a world wide game, and yes this time move was horrible for me, when it went to the current time, saying to change it again would be unfair to those in whichever part of the world it will affect.

That is why i suggest making it a weekday. I think more people will leave the game if the am are affecting their free time with family and friends on the weekend, then if it affects them during work. Logging into play a few fights for a aim, only takes at the most 10 mins. Skipping away from your job prob isn’t much of a sacrifice at work. We probably all check twitter or fb anyway. However, the social reality of doing it while at a wedding, date, movie, bar, casino, family event, weekend getaway is lot more of a deal break going forward.

When the game started the days rotated, also the other maps didn’t;t require as much accountability. Now with ancient sanctum, only on weekends, the summer coming, Kabam expect see a lot of long time players, paying money since the launch, leaving because the schedule like i have heard a lot in the past few weeks, is getting in the way of life.

Some people are busier on weekdays like me, most of my time playing TFTF are on Sunday, that's the only day I'm free to chill and relax
  • Busieryes, so things like arenas you prob focus more on the weekends. But I don’t care where you work, you should be able to get ten mins every few hours to blast out some fights for your alliance mission.
  • Or I heard someone say just give us unlimited energy. The mission can be done in an hour, and people are free to go their own way. Your ranked on points and difficulty level, the time it takes is irrelevant

I don’t know, I think it’s easier to tell my friends or family that I’m gonna take 10 mins to check my status in game and play a few rounds, than trying to explain to my supervisor where I snuck off to or risk my job because I was playing while on the clock, the friends and fam would be more understanding.
  • Little dramatic. Not telling you to risk your job, lol. But you don’t get a five min break every few hours, you might wanna check some labor laws. Did you play months ago when the days rotated? What did you do then.
  • Nothing will be perfect, but i have recently seen a lot of people leave for that reason lately. Never did i hear work was the issue.

For me personally, I'm a professional musician. Weekends are SUPER busy for me. I have way more free time during the week. I know I am not the norm. But that is my life ☺

I don't think 5 mins will be enough to clear your AM path, the loading takes at least 3-4 mins, higher level AMs fights take at least 2 mins to be done

3-4 minute loading time? Lol.... What device are you using?

As for what days AM is on... Meh. Pros and cons to weekdays and weekends

It's all about what is best for the majority of players

Weekday or weekend schedule, doesn’t matter as there’s no good schedule that works for everyone. I think Kabam changed to this current schedule because their data showed more people play during the weekend.

I don’t believe changing the schedule is the solution but perhaps a reduction in the AM energy recharge timer. Maybe down to 30 mins.

I would still like to see Kabam adopt an old suggestion on alliance energy... Instead of 6 players recharging one individual energy each per hour, make the mission energy BG energy, and it recharges at 1 energy per 10 minutes that anyone in the BG can use.

It's still the same 6 energy per hour, just allows for more flexibility.
