As per title,
WHAT IS YOUR USUAL/BEST EXCUSE TO PLAY F2F while circumnavigating life?

    As outrageous as this sounds,
    I attended the wake of a relative, in a rather remote (and spotty data area) location, and the host was going on for over 2 hours.
    I politely excused myself and said
    "Condolences, but my team members need my participation."

    Drove to the nearest 3-bar locale and bested the AM Map 3.xx Primal with 3 minutes to spare!

    Then proceeded to rush back and bury my uncle.

    I'm currently in Uni, and I can confirm that smashing Megs in the face is a nice break from learning about embryology.

    My wife says it's far cooler to cheat on her with some young ingenue than sit on my bum at home, in boxers, fighting robots.

    Thanks, F2F, now I've got a verbal agreement off of her!

    My LOOOOOOOOONG list of excuses include but are not limited to:

    "One sec I gotta call someone"

    "Sorry bud life happens"

    "I really need to use the bathroom"

    "This conversation is boring I need to refresh my mind then we can get back to it"

    "I'm tired I need a nap (then I proceed to play forged to fight under the blankets XD)"

    (Now for excuses that are only for use if you are under 16)

    "Gotta go my mom wants me to call her"

    "Hey...I really need to go...my dad will be really mad if I don't check in"


    And that is my LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG list of excuses

    I tell my wife "it could be beer, football, and strippers"
    She's fine with my gamer habit when it's put that way.

    For me, a bit of a mix of excuses and (shamefully) lies.
    • My stomach hurts and I must take a crap.
    •I'm going to sleep early.
    •I'm trying to text my friend. As a teenager, I need friends.
    •I must go, my planet needs me.
    •I, uh, have to go somewhere. Bye (This is me falling to make an excuse).
    •I'm learning new game mechanics for my game design class. (This one works well and is actually a bit educational)
    •And the worst one of them all:
    Mom, I spent money on these fights. So please let me finish them.

    I hate lying, but I love Forged to Fight. And love is stronger than hate, right?
