If it’s Cheetor, I hope they jump the wheel and make him warrior class
Indeed, can't see him as a Demolition and the Beast Wars family needs a Warrior and Scout. And Cheetor could definitely inflict some bleeds with his claws.
Dinobot should’ve been the warrior... I mean, it’s only a huge part of his character. No big deal I guess, right Kabam...?
Cheetor was the team scout, and the furthest thing from a demolitions expert.
The closest thing the Maximals have to a demo would be Rattrap. MAYBE Depth Charge if you really wanted to reach.
I agree Cheetor should be scout class, however there is one other class which would also make sense for him, and that's tactician. Reason being, he was selected as 2nd in command by Primal at some point in the series.
As for demolition... No, he does not make sense as a demo bot, not even in feral transmetal form.
Rattrap or Rhinox could pass as either tech or demo, when you consider their roles on the show, for sure.

Even in his heroic death scene saving the valley, he had a stand up self declaration of being a warrior about to make a noble sacrifice.
While he did grow up a bit throughout the 3 seasons of Beast Wars, he still largely impulsive and brash even by the end. Beast Machines is when Cheetor became ‘second in command’, and that’s because he had to step up. If we were ever to see that incarnation, a Tactician would make sense for his class.
Anyways, I hope your theory is correct about going backwards on the class wheel. Either that, or we’re not actually getting Cheetor this next month.
I thought for sure we’d see a certain antagonist from the new Power of the Primes show, since that stared airing last week.
I agree dinobot should have been a warrior but with as much time as he spent with teletran planning, it didnt surprise me to see him as a tactician considering his role mostly at primal’s side(even though intially selfish) and the storyline from the spotlight mission compeltely used the cyberbee storyline to explain primal being a brawler class bot.. howeever if cheetor is going to be released as a demo that will make even less sense than windblade does as a scout rather than a warrior.... and not even going to touch on the bot with the time gun as a warrior.... rattrap should be a demo, or better yet a tech, by definition the techs are supposed to be the weapons and shield builders, demos explosion experts, and scouts recon specialists so cheetor really needs to be a scout over a demo, scorponok would be a good demo, but please @Kabam Miike tell us the next bot is a g1 demo autobot that has synergy with prowl, um arcee and blaster.... that is what we really need!!!
Another good character from beast wars to consider as a tech or even a demo would be Taranulus. As would Rampage and Silverbolt would be a decent demo with his exploding feather bombs.

By definition, most of them are warriors, as they are all embroiled in a fight. Megatron is a warrior. Optimus is a warrior. I think it's more down to how they fight. I've never seen Beast Wars, so if Dinobot is a smart and cunning warrior that would rather employ tactics, it makes sense. If not, then it doesn't, I guess

I agree with this. Just because there aren't six classes in any cartoon doesn't make "Dinobot = Warrior" a valid point to blame Kabam's choice when designing the game.
It seems they are basing class on what it looks like/what they think is cool rather than what actually makes sense. I see the same thing in the character suggestion thread all the time, too.

It hasn’t been mentioned that Cheetor is next, just that he’s a scout. That said, we’re due for a bot intel around now, and we haven’t had any hints about a possible demo bot from the mods.
yeah putting Cheetor's special attacks in the game files could be a classic red herring, but regardless I'm glad to hear he's a scout. Now if he'll be May's bot, an exclusive bot, or a bot for some other month still remains to be seen.
