Enough is enough! He is one of the strongest Decepticons in Cybertronian history and a graduate of the Cybertron War Academy, Starscream is a treacherous high-ranking Decepticon. He is one of the few who possesses a "mutant" immortal spark. Even when his body is destroyed, his spark is not extinguished.

If Kabam can revamp his move set animations to look less aggressive and more slyful, then that would be great.
Also, a nice addition would to maybe have his spark eject from his chest every time the player defeats Starscream in battle would be so cool, definitely adding emphasis/differentiation (given his immortality).
Just a couple examples

I want to touch a little bit on translating Characters from Books/Movies/Comics/TV, to something like a Video Game like ours. While we still want to heavily base our Bots abilities and existence on the original source material, we have one important thing to keep in mind that other platforms don't have to... Balance!
All of our Bots needs to be able to Balance against each other. All will have their uses, and all will have their weaknesses. It's not really possible for us to perfectly translate those Characters from one medium to another. Remember when Megatron ripped Jazz in half with ease in the 2007 film? We can't have a Bot doing that in our game! Or when Galvatron took one shot at Starscream in the 1986 film and turned him to a smoking pile of scrap? That's not within the realm of game balance either.
Also, I personally think that our Starscream serves a very important role in combat when duped. Nullification. That is a very powerful ability that not many Bots can claim, and really should not be underestimated!
yeah mate but if you've ever had to dance around for about a thousand minutes with a duped starscream in master mode, hoping and praying to land even a single ranged shot to maybe nullify, all whilst being battered mercilessly by the OP AI, and finally given up and decided to use your melee game only to find that Scream's nullrays are attached towhat can only be described as pillow fists attached to noodles, by which point your phone is literally a million degrees and melting your hands and the AI is somehow on 110% hp, because Scream's shots are so weak, you would know he lacks something!
no no, he isn't the worst, he is better than unduped Grimlock. When he is duped, he can actually wreck a lot of bots and he does have some pretty sweet synergy (not talking about 5*).
He just lacks something small
Enough said
Instead of Going, you can say, one on one like mv1 ,,his moves should be somewhat like OG Bee Jazz etc.... Like he's hiding a bit to save himself while attacking and goes for legs instead of Face.
There is reference to that in Galvatron’s special 3 description.
Yes, I wish his leadership synergy was better. Wishful thinking would make it null ray for lower ranked bots....
If you think he sucks, you're not doing it right.
He does need a small buff, I've detailed some ideas in another thread.
He's a specialist. He can nullify so many irritating buffs in special content, and mop the floor with tantrum in spotlight.
If you have trouble landing ranged, you need to change up your pattern.
I find it incredibly easy to land ranged attacks, personally.
Yeah, but if you're choosing between tac bots and nullify is important you'd take Ultra Magnus every day of the week. He does everything starscream can do plus he has armour break and better melee abilities. That's not balanced.
Out of the existing abilities in the game, backfire makes sense for SS (he causes you to harm yourself), confusion makes sense (he's a manipulator), and revive makes sense (he had an immortal spark). Plus he should just hit harder. Any of these things would make him more balanced.
And I know, because I have him at 5/50 and use him for raids, spotlight, AM and used him for RoK...
I haven’t tried him yet in spotlight. Does the nullify shock damage do more than the repair from the energon shield? Or can it also nullify the energon shield (with an awakened Starscream)? That’d be something crazy if it does....
Starscream’s null ray will also nullify armor which will also inflict instant shock damage. His S2 has armor break as well. He can nullify unstoppable when his sig procs. His nullify with the S3 hits a bunch too. Launch it when the AI has a bunch of buffs (like say a stack of Primal crit armor) and you can see the health drop.
Agree on the weak melee for Starscream. He hits like a coward. Hmmm.....
Who do you put in your team with starscream. Megatron? Shockwave?
