One possible solution, Kabam could give us the option to choose PvP or PvE bases, like before you burn your ticket give us the choice to select a Qbase or a player base, Q bases are random setups but should not offer medal rewards and less chips than going towards a player base.
Kind of like taking a safe but long route or a better rewarding but high risk route.
