MCOC is the same except the grace period is 3 months. The pool of new players seems pretty low though. I could have hit 160k in 2 rotations if I’m honest. 1.6 mil took 3 days of grinding and about 500 energon though so wasn’t easy at all. I’ve only really hit 4 arena’s and have top 3’d them all so yeah, pool pretty low. Is what it is, it’s designed to give new players a leg up and get them involved, can’t see it changing anytime soon

But when you think about it, it's just how the things should be. They are new, don't have a large a roster, so this will give them a bump, and give them more motivation to continue.
That's how things goes.
Personnally, i'm not mad at it or anything else, i'm more surprised than never actually.

I mean, this will actually give some ideas to people for the next feature arena bot, if there are some in the future ...
Even with a roster of 10 4*, you can get that in like 1 day and a half
