Because GI JOE sucks? Sure that’s enough of a reason for most of us.. why don’t they throw in MLP and a few carebears while they’re at it, make it an 80s cartoon jamboree? lol

That makes a lot of sense. And consider the fact that he arrives in the story when the Evil (Shattered Glass) Autobots are around. That would cause him to be paranoid about which bot is which and mistakenly go against the Autobots again.
It would be weird to see him doing crazy backflips though.

Because I just opened him. I have an incredible knack for opening next months bot when opening a 5 star crystal within 3 or 4 days of the next cycle.

Seaspray is too PURE for this game.
As for DeceptiPirates @BlackRazak Black Zarak was rocking an eyepatch back in the day. He should be easy to implement as a Scorponok repaint.
