Mac, I'm the president, small hands, tertiary.
Jk, but let's just say you don't mind what OS, have a nice budget of about 1,200, want something that fit in your pocket, and need this as your primary phone. Thanks @BlackRazak

    @Kitten
It's very good, but unless you can get one at a massive discount, or absolutely need the stylus functionality, there are other SD845 devices at far lower devices, like the Pocophone F1 , Oneplus 6T, Nokia 9, etc.

@Hijacker2531 iPhone XR or moto x4 PLUS a holiday in Cancun

@Kitten can't recommend the moto x⁴ enough.
At below $300 for the 64GB, 4GB RAM variant (that runs F2F at higher res than a Poco F1, i piss you not), you get a 95% F2F-problem-free device that won't break the bank and runs Android 9.0.

Not only does it fit in your collection of skinny jeans, but since it's PROPER IP68 rated, you could play by the swimming pool and not worry about it getting dunked, WHILE on your holidays.

I give only the bestest advice

    @Bntyhntr3232_ GPD Win.
It's a laptop the size of 2 iPhone 6 Plus on top of each other.
    Z8500 Intel, 4GB RAM + 64GB, 5.5" HD Touchscreen.

Bought it because American Airlines wouldn't let you bring laptops on flights.
    Only pocketable devices, they said.
    Hence.

@Cheifloaded funny thing about F2F is that it DOESN'T require top tier specs.

Truth be told, all the unnecessary skins by OEMs kinda bugger the processor/optimization dynamic.
It's a great phone (both the SD835 Razer and SD845 Razer 2) but you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference from an LG ThinQ G7, in terms of graphics or overall stability.

    Best go with these essentials:

    1. Budget
    2. Android Implementation
    3. Processor
    4. RAM
    5. Battery Life

    E.g.
Your budget is massive, so go with a brand you like, with least messed up version of Android (plain as possible, like a Pixel or motorola), a Qualcomm SD 425, 630, 632, 636, 835, 845, 8150 or various MediaTek like the P15, P23, P60, P90 or their budget MT6737, etc.
Buy smart, and you'll have a device that does everything you need PLUS plays F2F well.

Apple users have no choice. Upgrade to at least 7plus or 8, or your device will be toast in months.

The iphone 7 plus is not good for the game, except for autorunning. I have a spare iphone 7S plus that I use to autorun SM, raids and arena; by the 5th fight, it just lags so badly even on auto. Imagine actually using it to fight, I doubt it can register any inputs. For AM, I use a iPhone XS Max. Even then, I do face control issues intermittently like can’t backstep or dash in. So honestly my conclusion is this game isn’t really compatible with mobile devices. :D

iPhone 6s is ok, I’m using that. It does lag a bit on the menu’s and once it’s heated up but hey, you let it cooldown for a while you can even fry a couple eggs on the back of it while your waiting. By the time they’re done it’s cooled down again. I’m on my second battery, by the way.

Really though, this is an issue for kabam. When players need to delve so deeply into compatibility then they should recognise the issue and fix it fgs. Look at the requirements guide thread, if this game was my business, I’d make it my business to see that thread had no purpose to keep going. Good practise and all, satisfied customers. That it continues to be an issue is ridiculous.

If the device isn’t compatible, and therefore overheats to a scolding heat so badly that it actually hurts to properly hold my phone, then state as much. Or just fix it. No other app does this.

For the sake of making my phone last until the end of my contract, I have to play sporadically. This really puts me off playing. And certainly puts me off paying. Not that I have, but the temptation has been there enough times. Funnily enough, mostly through broken AI or overheating causing ridiculous lag.

It’s been like 18 months I’ve had this issue. Just fix it already. It’s not our problem. It’s kabam’s

@Cheifloaded the S6 is still very decent, and can be used for daily requirements, work and e commerce as well as an electronic wallet. The camera is also still very good.

If i were in your shoes, I'd keep that, but play F2F on a secondary device, and use the S6 for simple things, during work hours, like collecting gold or sending bots on missions, etc.
Here are some absolute bargains that play F2F well.

    $250
    moto x⁴ (SD630, 4-64GB, Android 9.0)
    - no lag, no overheating, gorgeous graphics. Good dual camera, IP68 waterproofing, NFC for Google Pay. But only a 24hr 3000mAH battery. And a traditional (but beautiful) 16:9 IPS.

    $250
    moto g7 power (SD632, 4-64GB, Android 9.0)
    - as above, but with 5000mAH battery, which easily lasts 36-48hr. Cameras are inferior, and no NFC(US Market, ROW activated) or IP68.
    Trendy 18:9 screen with NOTCH.

I'm all up for midrange over flagship. They work 95% as well, plus are so CHEAP you can update your device yearly.
