Bot balance

Overall, I think the devs have done a pretty good job balancing the different classes/bots. There are a couple, though, that I think need a little tweaking:
1. Windblade's survivability needs a slight buff, I think. It almost seems like she should have the evasion ability as well (like Sideswipe, Bumblebee, and Barricade), but it was forgotten or removed, leaving her a little too fragile. I understand that she has offensive perks other bots don't have, like her sword bonus and her block-breaker that passes through projectiles, but they don't really make up for her folding like paper when hit by anything significant. This is especially the case at higher arena levels and tougher bot levels, when computer AI is quite good at dodging (nullifying her offensive advantages), and the name of the game at these higher levels becomes surviving the AI until it calms down enough for you to actually hit it.
2. Ironhide's second rank special attack is quite strong. 5 beefy hits, all at max range, in my opinion, easily the strongest 2nd rank special currently in the game. Actually, demolition bots in general, in my opinion, are the hardest to fight against at higher computer AI levels, whether it's a demolition sharkticon or Ironhide, in large part because of very painful special attacks.

Also, I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before, but I don't think Sideswipe's dodge ability is procing at all. Again I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem to be making any impact in game.
Also, Arcee is terribly underpowered, unless I'm totally missing some hidden ability of hers. As it stands, she is away mission fodder for me, and is nowhere near strong enough to compete in arenas or other missions.
Arcee is actually extremely solid but a glass cannon and requires fighting a different style, her power gain is unique and fun but I've had 15 hits and no crits or 5 hits all crit so power gain can be a challenge to plan but she's on my raid team offense and I've used her in am as well she is a specialist tho she really shines on bb ss barricade ect to shut down the evades. But did take me a while to get use to
ALL of her specials are incredible as well.
Buffing her defense will make her extremely OP. Scouts by definition aren't a "robust" class. She has perfect strengths and weaknesses, imo.
Don't mess with Ironhide please... He has weaknesses... Especially against an emi mod. His specials aren't really what do such significant damage... It's the signature ability that makes them extremely devastating.
Don't judge specials by the damage the AI does with them when they are behind. The damage is scaled to allow them to instantly catch up and turn it into a difficult fight.
Ratchet does need some kind of a buff. Perhaps a purification ability, or as the OP said, a shield ability. He's good, I use him as a tank because he has survivability, but he doesn't do a lot of damage (nor should he). Perhaps even allowing his L2 heal to work if you KO an opponent with it. It bothers me you don't get the full benefit of that special in a KO scenario.
We will keep watching Iron Hide, but as it is currently, we feel that there are enough counters and interesting mechanics when playing with or against him. Things like:
- Use Block if you can't sidestep his Special 2, he will deal very little damage.
- Use mirage's Special 1 mode in order to do some Power Burn.
Ratchet in the other hand is a bit tougher to balance around. Heal is extremely powerful and we need to be careful with it, but like someone else suggested, maybe he could get a Shield somehow, or some other mechanic. For me, I love using my Ratchet to almost stun lock opponents using a mix of Special 1, Shock and Power Gain from Self-Diagnostics.
