GI Joe has always been close to the Transformers universe. Cobra Commander actually rebuilt Megatron once. There's definitely enough of them to fill a game.

G2 Megatron, built by Cobra, completely outclassed G2 Optimus Prime, and put up a proper fight against Jhiaxus, a hyper advanced Decepticon !

Seems like they could allow us "Commanders" to change who is doing the commanding, by allowing us to collect different commanders (From GI Joe universe?). So it could possibly work like relics where you appoint different commander for different stat boosts based on game mode.
I just can’t imagine @kabam would give up on the best mobile fighting game of all time. They just need to pull people in, it’s so much better than MCOC (obviously not referring to cash generation for thier group).
But with the right marketing and investment, it could easily catch a lot of that player base, anyone from Gen X, and corner the Asian moble gaming market.
