RAIDers of the Lost ARK

Since ARK-base defense is a a futile endeavor, EVEN UP the odds by posting your default raid squad.
Your go-to guys that somehow manage to overcome MOST odds.

My 14.5K squad can handle anything up to 45K bases; irregardless of opponents and mods.
What's yours?

1. 4* R5 4900Pi Galvatron (any Tactician up to 8K is easy meat. Those DARK BURNS!)
2. 4* R5 4770Pi Cyclonus (makes ALL Brawlers beatable. R3 5* Wheeljack on repair mod, too! FAVE melee specialist, and great at dodging.)
3. 4* R5 4500Pi Motormaster (only weakness is Cyclonus. Also, DUCK Ironhide SP2s! Blitz King.)

  • B Team:
R5 4* f100 Rat, IH, OGP. IH for the occasional BC and NanoJack, Rat for RoboTronus', OGP for everyone else. This team can usually pwn up to 50k bases, UNLESS it is double RoboTronus. The odds of having 2 fair RT fights in 1 raid are usually pretty low.

A Team: r4 5* Nox f67, Primal f100, Scorp f100 - All raids are won, UNLESS see above.

So my Raid Team is as follows:
    (1) R5 Max 4* Tantrum, sig 15, f27, 3550 Pi. Main purpose: address HA-enhanced bots (he is a BC/HA killer!)
    (2) R5 Max, 4* Bonecrusher, sig 15, f36, 3550 Pi. Main purpose: crush Scouts & Techs (he will bleed out NanoJack without too much trouble).
    (3) R5 Max, 4* Megatronus, sig 10, f28, 4000 Pi. Main purpose: Obliterate everyone else.

Basically, I can handle any base with up to a 22000 Pi rating, no problem. Probably could challenge up to a 27000 Pi rating, but I’m lazy on Raids, & usually run into one base that is beatable with my 3 tickets.

Rhinox, primal and cheetor, I've come to like using those guys, before that however it was Megatron, shockwave and a brawler (usually motormaster or tantrum)
  • R5 max forged 4* Shockwave
    R5 max forged 4* Grimlock
    R4 5* Prowl or R3 5* Windblade

Totally unnecessary... but here it is.

All 4*s R5 with no forge.
Cyclonous (Deals with Unstoppable Mod, and chances to nullify other mods such as Power Mod)
Tantrum (Deals with Harm Accelerator, and sometimes EMI Mod and Nanojack)
Kickback (Deals with Power Mod and Nanojack)
Yeah I'm using the iNightSkies raid team.
  • Looks like you're going on your Last Crusade @BlackRazak
  • That crusade will lead you to The Temple Of Doom
  • Where you will claim The Crystal Skull

    r5 5* Jetfire
    r4 5* Megatronus
r4 5* Megatron or a r5 4* Grimlock if Megatron is in AM

Surprisingly few fans of G1 Prime or MV1 Megs here

During AM I like to run...
    5* Shock rank 4
    5* MV1 rank 4
    4* Cheetor maxed

    This group counters everything.

When AM is down megatronus just runs rampant on attack for me. he replaces cheetor and I'm set.

mv1 is good against HA but can't reliably deal with nanojack. Bonecrushers aren't usually a problem any more if you have high enough level bots, so really it's just the counter for Mtronus that matters now.

G1 OP isn't really raid worthy - much better in AM or spotlight

just realised you said mv1 megs... aka demotron. That's cos he sucks. Ok for AM or spotlight depending on what level you play or have him at, but pointless for raids.

It’s kinda unfair but tronus is amazing vs nanojack. His dark burn heavies to bust through WJs shields and huge hp basically make the harm damage seem like peanuts.

For all his awesomeness, i personally find Megatronus to be rather dull.
He's a long range spammer, like Galvatron, but without the satisfying learning/mastering curve.

Which is why G1 Megs is awesome.
Spammer, but his close range fighting skills are great, too.

Now if only Cyclonus had better long range attacks and other buffs besides nullify...

Lol, Megatronus isn't a long range spammer and neither is Galvatron...

If anything, you want to be smashing the opponent when they are blocking for chip damage, as the orange relic helps with block penetration

    I dunno mang
Galvatron is rather vulnerable to scouts, warriors, brawlers if not used as a spammer, at least for me.
His flying kicks and cumbersome attack animations leave him open to attacks.
Plus his melee don't do much damage.

I have HUGE success using him as a long range specialist, not so as Mr McPunchface.

    Im guessing YMMV.

Tronus is still boring (yes, he's severely capable, even a 1500Pi version kicks arse) to the point he's exposed as what he is.
    A boss character.

Galv has that crit chance on his last hit though. I also find him the opposite of cumbersome - super quick and fluid! I like to set his heavy up with the melee hits as it seems the AI dodges it less. Also like to set it up with an sp1 if possible.

Don't suppose it matters though, as long as you're winning

@DaveJL i should probably explore more YT vids about Galvy's melee style.
Otherwise it's charge, dodge, spam to infinity for me.
Which gets the job done (for medium level), but still

yeah. I think before his changes I was one of the only ones singing his praises - I used to use him extensively too. Paired with Cyclonus that crit damage from his last hit, and when fully charged, can be insane damage. He crits quite a lot, so better to land two ranged shots and do either the 4 hits and and heavy or a full combo, special (any of them, sp1 stun and heavy if charged) and he can just do crazy, crazy damage.

He was actually my first 4* and dupe, as I started playing when his spotlight was released, so I have a ton of love for him

People hating on Megatronus + RR...

    My pet peeves:
    1. Arcee + Nightbird (Even 3000Pi. Her FAST ranged Head Shots. Ouch)
    2. Wheeljack + Nano + Repair (ANNOYING. A particular fight took 5m10s, and shield drops to 50, then repairs back to 84. You can guess the rest. He was just 4000Pi but had high sig)

Robotronus can't handle high sig RHINOX

I love this raid team these guys have been my go to raid team for a long time
Back when we got that Grimlock bundle for $30.00 in included Grimlock and everything neeeded to max him out including the gold it was the best and only bundle I’ve ever purchased 👍 Grimlock is amazing best Brawler for raiding 👍
Bumblebee makes life easy against any Techs, Scouts,Tacticians, and even Brawlers 👍
Wheeljack can take Megatronus very easily 👍 unless his SP3 keeps coming and if 2 Robotronus are on someone’s base that can kill this squad off if too many SP3’s come lol 😂 👎
Other than that this squad is a charm 👍
  • Mine is :
R4 5* rhinox, against power mods / demo tact bots
R4 5* cheetor, against repair mods / scout tech bots
R4 5* primal, against crits mods / warrior brawler bots
    Beast synergy against HA mods

Can defeat 60k+ base, even with 2 tronus on RR or duped scorponok on tech console

    2. Said 3 boys
    3. Adulting
